Bryce Harper Goes Through Concussion Protocol
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper went through the concussion protocol, according to manager Joe Girardi. Harper and shortstop Didi Gregorius (ribs) will be evaluated on Friday. Both players sat out of Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals after they were hit by pitches on Wednesday. Harper was hit by a pitch in the face but said that he was fine. The Phillies are being cautious with the 28-year-old superstar, though, so fantasy managers will need to check back closer to game time on Friday to see if he's back in the lineup. Harper has been hot to start the season, slashing .321/.448/.615 with a 1.063 OPS, six home runs, 17 runs scored, 10 RBI and two stolen bases in 78 at-bats.
