Bryce Eldridge Being Promoted to Triple-A
Bryce Eldridge is being promoted to Triple-A Sacramento from Double-A Richmond on Tuesday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser. Per MLB Pipeline, Eldridge is the club's top prospect, and given the team's needs at the big-league level, he could make his MLB debut this year sooner than later if he continues to hit at Sacramento. The 20-year-old former 16th overall pick in 2023 has big power and was hitting .280 (35-for-125) with 20 RBI and 14 runs scored in his 34 games at Richmond to earn a minor-league promotion to the highest level. He has recovered nicely from a wrist injury that kept him out earlier this season and figures to make his major-league debut at some point this year as long as he doesn't tank at Triple-A. The former two-way star is the future at first base in San Francisco.
