Browns Put Jack Conklin On Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns placed right tackle Jack Conklin (elbow) on Injured Reserve on Saturday and activated fullback Andy Janovich and center Nick Harris from IR in corresponding moves. Conklin is expected back this season, but he'll now be forced to miss the team's next three games after dislocating his left elbow in the Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 27-year-old has also missed two contests this year due to a knee injury. Blake Hance took over for Conklin on the right side of Cleveland's offensive line last week against Pittsburgh and is likely to get the start in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. It's a downgrade for the Browns offense with Conklin out for at least the next three weeks.
