Broncos Defense Off The Fantasy Radar Against Packers
1 year agoThe Denver Broncos defense/special teams unit is surprisingly tied for 14th in the NFL in overall points, and they just held the Kansas City Chiefs to only 19 points in their Week 6 loss. That's about where the positives end, though. Their overall fantasy point total has been inflated by defensive and special-teams touchdowns. They are allowing league-highs in points per game (33.3), total yards per game (440.3) and rushing yards per game (172.3). Denver's D has only come up with six takeaways while the Green Bay Packers, their Week 7 opponent, have only given the ball away six times and allowed just 10 sacks through their five games. The Packers doesn't really scare anyone with an inexperienced QB at the helm, but they are coming off their bye week with plenty of time to prepare for a porous defense.
