1 year agoThe Milwaukee Brewers optioned infielder Jahmai Jones to Triple-A Nashville on Monday. In his first four games with the Brew Crew in the last week, Jones went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in five plate appearances, but he had made only one start. The Brewers will send him back to the minors during the All-Star break, but there's a chance the 25-year-old middle infielder will be back shortly for Milwaukee in the second half of the season to continue serving as infield depth. Jones has only played in three MLB seasons and has struggled with a .192/.250/.244 slash line with no homers, seven RBI and two stolen bases in 33 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
