2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves placed right-hander Kyle Wright (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list on Thursday with right-shoulder inflammation and recalled left-hander Dylan Dodd from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. It's more disappointing news for Wright, who will land on the injured list for already the second time this year after he opened the year on the IL due to a right-shoulder injury. It could be a lengthy absence for the 27-year-old right-hander so that they make sure he's clear of the issue the rest of the season. Dodd will fill in for Wright in Atlanta's rotation for the time being, beginning with Thursday night against the Miami Marlins. Wright just hasn't been right so far in 2023, posting a 5.79 ERA (4.54 FIP), 1.77 WHIP, 10 walks and 20 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings over five starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
