Texas Rangers relief pitcher Brandon Mann made his first ever appearance in the major leagues Sunday. Mann makes his debut 16 years after he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays. Mann pitched 17 1/3 innings for Triple-A Round Rock with a 1.04 ERA, 13 strikeouts and five walks. In his major league debut he pitched 1 2/3 innings with zero earned runs or strikeouts and one hit. At this stage Mann is nothing more than a feel good story, but if he pitches well he could have a shot to save games in a bullpen which has struggled for consistency in 2018.--Ben RolfeRead More News
