Brandin Cooks Questionable For Thursday Night
4 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (quadriceps) is officially questionable for the Week 1 Thursday night game against the Chiefs. Cooks returned to a limited practice for the walkthrough on Wednesday. It's nothing new for Cooks, as he's had a history with injuries, particularly concussions. A speedy wideout with a lower-body injury is a big risk to start the season. He'll be a boom/bust WR3/flex if he suits up. If he's inactive, it'll be Will Fuller V, Kenny Stills and Randall Cobb in three-receiver sets for Houston in their first game without DeAndre Hopkins. Losing Cooks would also be a slight downgrade for quarterback Deshaun Watson as a QB1.
