Bo Bichette Helps Push Blue Jays Past D-Backs
Bo Bichette went 2-for-5 with a double and a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks. He added two runs scored. Bichette doubled and scored in the bottom of the seventh when teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr. knocked him in a few batters later, but his most clutch hit of the outing came when they needed it most. The Florida native stepped up to the dish in the bottom of the ninth and crushed a Shelby Miller splitter 399 feet over the left-field wall to knot the score at four apiece. The 27-year-old has rebounded superbly in 2025 and looked much more like the player who hit .290 or better from 2021-2023. He's currently sporting a .306 xBA, placing him in the top 5% of all hitters.
