Blake Snell Fantastic Against The Cardinals
2 years agoSan Diego Padres left-hander Blake Snell was fantastic in his outing on Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Snell threw seven shutout innings, giving up only two hits while walking two and striking out 13 in the 1-0 win. His 13 K's tied a career-high to help him pick up his eighth win of the season. The 29-year-old southpaw lowered his ERA on the year to 3.62 with the effort. Aside from a start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sept. 10 when he allowed five earned runs, Snell has allowed one or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts. He's delivering down the stretch, just like his fantasy managers were hoping for.
