Bears Ending Offseason Program Early
5 years agoThe Chicago Bears have decided to end their virtual offseason program early, as head coach Matt Nagy said that nine weeks are enough and that he wants the players to focus on training camp without having to worry about video conferences four days a week. Chicago's final virtual meeting will take place on Thursday, a week and a half ahead of schedule. "We've done so much, we feel like we're in a really good place right now," Nagy said. Rookies will still be required to meet, however. The league allowed coaches to return to facilities last week, but Nagy isn't sure when he and his coaches will return. The biggest storyline in Bears camp next month will be the quarterback battle between Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky, with Foles the expected favorite for the gig.
