Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews registered his 12th career four-point game on Saturday, hitting his 39th goal of the season and adding three assists in a 7-1 victory over the Canadiens. Two of his assists came in power-play situations. With three games to go, Matthews needs to get just one more goal to join Alex Ovechkin as the only active players with four consecutive 40-goal campaigns. It would be a big achievement, considering that Matthews has lost quite a bit of time to injury in 2022-23. He skated in only his 72nd game of the season Saturday, reaching 84 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
