Austin Hooper Dealing With Shin Injury, Will Play Sunday
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper (shin) popped up on Friday's practice report with a shin injury, but he was able to practice in full and was removed from the final injury report for Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. The matchup is a nice one for the Browns and their offensive players, but Cleveland just hasn't thrown the ball enough this year to make either Hooper or David Njoku very appealing outside of deep two-TE leagues. Hooper did have his second touchdown of the season last week, but he totaled only 25 yards and the score game deep in garbage time in the blowout loss to the New England Patriots. He will continue to be a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE2 despite the excellent matchup against the winless Lions.
