Austin Dillon Starts Just Outside The Top 10
5 months agoAustin Dillon nearly made the final cut in qualifying on Saturday. Richard Childress Racing had to be happy as the No. 3 car showed a lot of speed at times. His best lap was 0.279 seconds off the time of Tyler Reddick. Even in practice, Dillon ended up in the Top 15 with a time of 50.016 seconds. Dillon ran a total of 24 laps including a five and ten-lap interval. The big question is how will the new NASCAR car drive on longer runs. After all, the last time the Brickyard 400 took place was July of 2020.
