Artemi Panarin Celebrates Rangers Record
1 year agoNew York Rangers left wing Artemi Panarin posted a new franchise record for the longest season-opening point streak by scoring a pair of goals in Saturday's 5-3 victory over New Jersey. Panarin broke a tie with Rod Gilbert and has now points from 15 consecutive games. Saturday even marked his fifth straight multi-point outing. The Russian star is probably playing the best hockey of his career right now, and he's on pace to crush his scoring record, having tallied 26 points (10 goals, 16 assists) in 15 outings this season.
