1 year agoSeattle Mariners southpaw Ariel Miranda has been released Thursday. This move was made so the pitcher can pursue an opportunity to pitch in Japan. He made one spot start with the big league team in 2018 and pitched fairly well, but he ultimately never stuck in the rotation. Miranda was 5-0 with a 3.97 ERA at Triple-A Tacoma. The 29-year-old will try his luck overseas.--Tommy Vaughn - RotoBaller
