Aric Almirola had a better race car than even he could have imagined. He stayed in the top ten the entire second half of the race. Ultimately, Almirola finished in sixth on Sunday at Richmond Raceway and was on the cusp of passing Martin Truex Jr. for fifth even. It was an impressive result for the Stewart-Haas Racing driver who started from 22nd. Almirola was 12th after Stage 1 and ninth after Stage 2. The No. 10 driver showed that he was able to handle short runs better as the race went on. That may bode well for next Sunday at Talladega.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
