Antonio Senzatela Earns The Win On Wednesday
Antonio Senzatela picked up the win on Wednesday when he allowed three runs (one earned) on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings in a 6-3 win over the Texas Rangers. This was Senzatela's second deepest outing of the season after working eight innings in his second start of the year vs. the D-Backs. On Wednesday, he gave up an RBI single to Isiah Kiner-Falefa in the first inning but didn't allow another run to come across until the top of the sixth. Kiner-Falefa reached on an error in that frame and came around to score, along with Joey Gallo, off of a Brock Holt RBI double. The 26-year-old ended up scattering seven hits and only allowed one earned run. He only whiffed three batters and has just 34 strikeouts on the season over 58 1/3 innings. This stellar effort lowered his ERA to 4.47 to go along with a 1.41 ERA but his record sits at 2-5. He's got a relatively easy matchup in his next start against the Marlins in Miami.
