5 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles selected Ole Miss shortstop Anthony Servideo with the 74th overall pick in the third round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. They followed that with Stoneman Douglas High School third baseman Coby Mayo in the fourth round and Dowling Catholic High School pitcher Carter Baumler in the fifth round. Servideo can play the 6 and can run, but there are questions about his bat. Mayo has powerful potential with the bat that many teams covet and is 6-foot-5 to boot. Baumler, a right-hander, is Iowa's best pitching prospect since Mitch Keller, but his placement in the fifth round might make it hard for him to be lured away from his commitment to Texas Christian.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
