Anthony Rizzo To Have More Testing Tuesday
1 year agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo (concussion) will head back to New York for more testing on Tuesday, but he said he feels like he's progressing from concussion issues. Rizzo did some light agility work in the outfield on Monday and walked at an incline on a treadmill. If the 34-year-old left-handed slugger gets good results from his tests on Tuesday, he could begin real baseball activities as he attempts to make his way back to the Yankees lineup. Rizzo has been out since Aug. 1. Before suffering a concussion, he had provided his fantasy managers with 12 home runs, 41 RBI, 45 runs scored and a .244/.328/.378 slash line in 421 trips to the plate and 99 games. Once he gets past his concussion, Rizzo should return to everyday duties at first base in the Bronx.
