Anthony Rizzo Finishes Postseason Strong
2 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the 6-5 loss to the Houston Astros in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Sunday. The Yankees were swept in four games, putting an end to their 2022 postseason run. Rizzo was one of the most consistent Yankees hitters during the playoffs this year, going 8-for-29 (.276) with two home runs, eight RBI, four runs scored and five walks in nine games played. The 33-year-old left-handed slugger finished up the regular season slashing .224/.338/.480 with an .817 OPS, 32 home runs, 75 RBI, 77 runs scored and six stolen bases in 465 at-bats.
