Anthony Rendon Takes Reps Against Live Pitching
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (wrist) saw live pitching against minor league arms on Tuesday and could do so again on Wednesday or Thursday. The Angels are still in the process of determining whether Rendon can return for the final few days of the regular season so that he can finish out a five-game suspension from his involvement in a fight with the Seattle Mariners in June. There are only eight games left in the regular season, so fantasy managers aren't going to get any production from the 32-year-old the rest of the way. Rendon has played in a career-low 45 games in 2022 and has hit a disappointing .228/.324/.383 with five home runs, 24 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases in 188 plate appearances.
