Anthony Edwards Leads Minnesota To Victory
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards filled up the stat sheet and led the team to a 111-100 victory against Memphis on Friday. He scored a team-high 25 points and had seven rebounds and seven assists with one block. Edwards hit a nice 3-for-5 from outside and 9-for-18 overall from the field. The 21-year-old has started to blossom into a superstar and has given his numbers a big boost this month, averaging 26.4 points with 5.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals. Edwards had a run of 30-point games stop at three on Friday, but he finds himself in a superb situation to start a new one in the next couple of contests, as the T-Wolves are scheduled to play two consecutive games against a pacy Kings team that is ranked only 23rd in defensive efficiency.
