Anthony Davis Puts Up 27 Points In Opening Game
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center/forward Anthony Davis contributed a 27-point effort on Tuesday night. Ultimately, his contributions weren't enough, though, as the Lakers went on to lose, but he did add six rebounds, four steals and one block. His defense looked stellar to open up the game, but the Warriors got hot in the second half and it was over from there. Davis' three-point shooting has been lackluster over the last couple of seasons now. This opening game didn't give any encouragement to his fantasy managers, as he went 0-for-3 from deep. Moving forward, hopefully he won't have to jack up 22 shots in a game so that he can stay healthy for a full season.
