Another Missed Practice For Robby Anderson
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson (quadriceps) is missing his second straight practice of the week on Thursday. Anderson will need to get back on the practice field on Friday to have a chance at playing in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers could be thin on pass-catchers this weekend if Anderson is unable to play, as the team placed rookie Terrace Marshall Jr. (foot) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, and fellow rookie Shi Smith is on the COVID-19 list. The only other receivers on the active roster are Alex Erickson and Brandon Zylstra. D.J. Moore could be busy as the team's leading receiver against Tampa if Anderson doesn't play. When healthy, Anderson has done very little for fantasy managers this year, averaging 2.9 catches and 29.3 receiving yards in 16 games played.
