Andrei Svechnikov and Sebastian Aho each had two goals and an assist in the Carolina Hurricanes’ 5-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. Svechnikov hit the 50-point mark with his effort and also set a new career-high in goals with 22. He has eight points over his last six games. Aho is now one goal away from 30 for the season. He’s scored five goals in the last four games. Trevor van Riemsdyk added two assists. He has just five points — all helpers — in 35 games this season. James Reimer had a respectable game in net by stopping 30 of 33 shots. He’s now allowed three goals or fewer in five straight appearances.
