Amari Rodgers Is One To Watch In Green Bay
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver/return specialist Amari Rodgers could be the team's breakout player in his first year in the NFL. The third-round pick out of Clemson is a natural slot receiver, which is something the Packers have lacked, and is also a very skilled kick returner. The 5-foot-9, 212-pounder can also serve out of the backfield on jet sweeps, reverses and other motion action. If Rodgers has a nice training camp this summer, he could challenge for snaps out of the slot right away alongside Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The 21-year-old is a nice dynasty/keeper asset and could even become a trendy late-round flier in deep leagues if he makes more noise in training camp, but only if quarterback Aaron Rodgers returns.
