Alvin Kamara, Jared Cook, Tre'Quan Smith Sidelined
Alvin Kamara (ankle), tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) all missed practice on Wednesday. All three players sat out in Week 7 against the Bears and are off to a bad start this week. The Saints have a bye in Week 9, so they could decide to rest the trio again this weekend. If that's the case, Latavius Murray would be on the RB1/2 borderline for a second straight start in a great matchup against the Cardinals. Josh Hill is the next man up if Cook misses another game, but he doesn't have much fantasy appeal as long as Teddy Bridgewater is at quarterback. Michael Thomas is the only fantasy-relevant receiver in New Orleans until Drew Brees (thumb) makes his return.
