5 years agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said that starting pitcher Alex Wood (back) could throw on flat ground this weekend. "We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it wasn’t too big of a setback for him," Bell said. Wood has had multiple setbacks in his attempt to make his season debut for the Reds in 2019. The left-hander definitely won't be ready until the second half of the season, and it's fair to wonder if he'll even make it back next month after such a long layoff at this point. Wood can be ignored in all fantasy leagues until further notice.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
