Alex Noren has flashed upside potential in one of his three most recent starts, finishing T6 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He also owns a third-place finish at The Honda Classic in 2018. Noren has proven he has the recent form and course history to contend this week. His strokes gained on approach seem to dictate his success at PGA National, finishing third when gaining in this department but placing outside the top 40 the three times he has lost strokes with his irons. Noren has strung together impressive approach numbers in his last trio of starts, eclipsing an average of 0.4 strokes per round. If he continues to impress with his irons, the rest of his game should be sufficient enough to push him towards the top of the leaderboard.--Byron Lindeque
