Alex Bregman Slugging Only .438 To Start Season
6 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman collected only one hit in seven at-bats over the weekend as he returned to the lineup following a hamstring injury. The injury proved to be minor, but Bregman is off to a bit of a slow start despite hitting .313 through his first 48 at-bats. The 25-year-old burst onto the scene last season but is slugging only .438 right now with one home run and three doubles. Fantasy owners need to be patient because a hot streak should be right around the corner. Bregman posted a .381 slugging percentage last season in the month of April before going on an MVP-like tear the rest of the season. Bregman's best days are just ahead, and he is an elite player in all fantasy formats.
