Boone Jenner Exits Win With Upper-Body Injury
Columbus Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner (upper body) left Tuesday's 2-1 shootout win against the Seattle Kraken in the second period. Initially, the team announced that Jenner was questionable to return, but he ended up sitting out the rest of the game. Considering there was a chance Jenner might return, his injury may only be minor, and the veteran forward could make a quick return. In his 13th NHL season, Jenner has recorded three goals and 10 points, along with 30 hits, in 16 games. Ahead of Tuesday's action, he had averaged a point per game across his last four outings.
