Alex Bowman had problems in the final group of qualifying on Saturday. However, the Hendrick Motorsports driver still will start tenth on Sunday afternoon from Martinsville. Bowman is one who typically gets looked at on short tracks. He was middle of the pack in practice with an overall of 20.508 seconds. Bowman picked up his speed in the early rounds of qualifying.
