Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Peterson gutted through an ankle sprain last Thursday in a revenge game against his old team in the Vikings, but he may have done more damage to his ankle. He's not a lock to play in Week 9 in a really tough matchup against the Bills on the road. Even if the veteran is active for Washington, he'll be a low-upside, low-end RB3 choice for fantasy owners.
