Adam Fox Sustains Upper-Body Injury
New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox (upper body) exited Tuesday's contest early. The defenseman sustained a collision in the third period and landed on his arm. He left the ice in pain. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Friday evening against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Before exiting, Fox tallied a helper and logged four blocked shots. He held a +0 rating and added two penalty minutes. New York defenseman K'Andre Miller (lower body) left this contest as well and could leave their blue line shortened for the remainder of the week. Fox is currently riding a seven-game point streak. During this stretch, the 27-year-old has tallied two goals and added six helpers. If he were to miss time, Will Borgen could move up to the top pairing.
