Adam Duvall Thinks He'll Return Friday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Adam Duvall (wrist) is back in the team's clubhouse, but he'll play in more minor-league rehab games this week. Barring a setback, he thinks he's in line to be activated from the injured list on Friday when he's first eligible to come off the 60-day IL. Duvall went 1-for-2 with his second home run, two RBI, three runs scored, two walks and a strikeout for Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, and he's now gone 3-for-16 with a double and two home runs in five rehab games in the minors. The 34-year-old has been out since early April with a fractured left wrist, but he seems poised to rejoin Boston's lineup this weekend in a series against the division-rival New York Yankees. Make sure Duvall isn't available on your league's waiver wire.
