Aaron Rodgers Considering Retirement?
4 years agoUntil the situation with the Green Bay Packers is repaired to his liking, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is seriously considering retirement, according to sources. If he were to retire, he would have to repay the team $11.5 million this year and $11.5 million if he remains retired next year -- all from his signing bonus. Reports surfaced before the first round of the 2021 NFL draft on Thursday that Rodgers was disgruntled and didn't want to return to the team this year. However, general manager Brian Gutekunst and the front office continue to hold firm and say that they will not trade last year's MVP. Rogers has the same agent, Dave Dunn, that helped Carson Palmer force his way out of Cincinnati. As of right now, it doesn't look like Rodgers is going anywhere, but things could change. Stay tuned.
