Aaron Judge Going For MRI Exam
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) will undergo an MRI exam on his right hip after he left Thursday's game early against the Texas Rangers with discomfort, according to a major-league source. Meanwhile, outfielder/first baseman Jake Bauers will either be added to the active roster or kept on the taxi squad, depending on the outcome of Judge's MRI. Losing Judge for an extended time period would be a disaster for the Yankees and fantasy managers. The Yankees are currently without Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring), Harrison Bader (oblique) and third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring). Judge is currently hitting .267/.358/.522 with six home runs in 25 games. Hopefully, he can avoid an injured-list stint and return to the Yankees after a few days.
