Aaron Donald Not Expected To Report For Offseason Workouts
7 years agoLos Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald is not expected to report for offseason workouts this week, at least until he gets a new contract. He's scheduled to make $6.9 million in the fifth and final year of his rookie deal, but he's seeking an extension that could pay him more than $20 million per year. Last year, Donald didn't show up to voluntary workouts, mandatory minicamp or training camp, so this won't be anything new for him. The missed time didn't affect his on-field play, as Donald recorded 11 sacks. Donald will get his new contract, but it may take some time. He'll remain a top IDP player next year on an improved Rams defense overall.
