Other top prospects, such as Paul SkenesChristian ScottKyle ManzardoTyler Black, James Wood, and Joey Loperfido, patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include Boston Red Sox outfielder Wilyer Abreu. The 24-year-old is slashing .520/.571/.960 with two home runs, seven RBI, and five runs scored over his last six games. Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Joel Payamps is the team's primary closer and has racked up three saves over his last four appearances. Atlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud continues to swing a hot bat, hitting .571 (8-for-14) with five home runs and 11 RBI over his six games. Injuries continue to pile up as fantasy managers will need to replace Blake SnellCody BellingerLane Thomas, Pete Fairbanks, and Brayan Bello, who were all recently placed on the injured list.

This edition features players such as Heston Kjerstad, Wilyer Abreu, Pete Crow-Armstrong, Addison Barger, Joel Payamps, Hector Neris, Jason Adam, Luis Garcia Jr., Clarke Schmidt, Reed Garrett, Mitchell Parker, and Jo Adell. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free- agent adds off waivers. I will be pinch-hitting for Nick in the next few weeks.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

This article will guide you with our weekly ranking for the relevant waiver wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size). Roster % is from Yahoo leagues.
