Kevin Love is worth considering as a fantasy basketball waiver wire pickup heading into Week 5 of the 2022-23 NBA season.

ANALYSIS: Things have calmed down a bit in The Land with Kevin Love coming back down to Earth a bit, but even then the über-veteran is still quite an appealing fantasy option available for free in nearly four of every five ESPN leagues and thus a must-target WW piece entering Week 5.
Love had a scorching stretch from Oct. 30 (season-high 29 points against the Knicks) to Nov. 7 (17-8-3 average line in that span of five games) but has yet to score double-digit points in the past week barring Monday.
That said, it's only been a couple of games for Love outside of the matchup against the Clippers in Nov. 7 and in the other two played (Wed. and Fri.) he did a bit of everything with an eerily steady consistency: 9/9 points in each of those, 8/7 rebounds, 2/2 dimes, and 0/1 steals.
Love hoisted 5 and 10 FGA from the floor in those two games respectively hitting one and two 3-point shots--it's been now five games in a row for Love hitting at least one shot from beyond the arc averaging 2.5+ 3PM per contest in that span (10 days). One of two (Jayson Tatum) players in the NBA averaging 12+ PPG and 7+ RPG with 2.5+ 3PM per game.
