BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 22% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: You won't believe this, but the Patriots are leading the AFC East above the Buffalo Bills and have a very solid chance at making it to the postseason. Part of that miracle falls in rookie QB Mac Jones, and part of it is also because of Kendrick Bourne's play at the wideout position. The Pats are far from the beasts of yesteryear, but the youngins are producing more than enough to have the squad up the standings.
Bourne is the no. 1 WR in New England when it comes to fantasy points. He's edging WR1-in-targets Jakobi Meyers by almost 15 PPR points (in other words, a good game) while having played the same 12 matches to date. Bourne, though, has 402 snaps to Meyer's 680, which tells you how much more efficient Bourne has been than Meyers over the year.
Bourne has put up 23+ PPR points in two of the past three games played, those two sandwiching a meh-not-horrid 8.9-PPR outing. Though Bourne's W10 fantasy score was barely better than this past Sunday's (24.1 to 23.1), both outings served him to get into the WR1 real and (pending MNF) rank as a top-5 wideout in those two respective weeks. The 6-5-61-2 receiving line from last Sunday is obviously an outlier and not a weekly projection/expectation to have in mind, but it shows Bourne's ceiling while he has a floor of some 10 PPR points if he keeps seeing around a 50% snap share (and that, if New England was smart, should grow higher ROS).
