Joshua Dobbs' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Joshua Dobbs for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: In just three games played for the Minnesota Vikings, all eyes seem to be glued to Joshua Dobbs who has been excelling at the quarterback position since the Vikings acquired him from the Arizona Cardinals after starting quarterback Kirk Cousins went down with a season-ending injury. Dobbs has been getting the job done through the air and on the ground as he has scored a rushing touchdown in his last five straight weeks. He has been a player to monitor as he has had top fantasy finishes in two of the three weeks played but now has officially entered the fantasy radar for owners.
In Week 12, he'll face the Chicago Bears, who despite losing, looked great in the Week 11 loss to the Detroit Lions where they had three takeaways and allowed two scoreless quarters. However, Dobbs has thrown for at least 20 pass completions and at least two total touchdowns in each of his games played with the Vikings. Although there is still mystery involved with Dobbs' fantasy outlook, the upside here makes him worth a dice roll if you are struggling at the quarterback option this week.
