Jordan Whittington fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 5 (2024). Should you start or sit Jordan Whittington for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Consider In 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp remain out of the Rams' lineup, but fantasy football opportunities are there to be unearthed in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles has moved on from the Tyler Johnson experiment. In Week 4, Jordan Whittington earned his first career start. He, Tutu Atwell, and Demarcus Robinson dominated snap counts. This should be the trio moving forward until the stars get healthy.
Whittington took advantage of his chance, leading the Rams in targets (8) and receptions (6) for 62 yards against a solid Chicago secondary. The matchup against the Packers in Week 5 is softer, especially if cornerback Jaire Alexander (questionable, groin) can't play.

The Rams' defense is weak across the board. They are in the top ten in fantasy points allowed to every position and surrender 28.8 points per game. This is good news for Whittington and the rest of the Rams' wide receivers. The Packers' roster is filled with weapons and should have no problem scoring. That will force the Rams to put the ball in the air to play catch-up.
At age 36, Matthew Stafford places the ball exactly where his wide receivers need it. Whittington and Atwell are flex options this week, with Whittington getting the edge in PPR and Atwell in standard leagues.
