ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings has had a solid start to the 2024 season. The veteran wide receiver has seven receptions on nine targets for 101 receiving yards and 13.6 half-point PPR fantasy points. His role on offense is limited because of Deebo Samuel Sr., Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle.
However, Jennings’ role on offense is about to expand. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told the media earlier tonight that Samuel has a calf strain and will miss a few weeks. The veteran receiver’s nine targets are only one fewer than Aiyuk’s over the first two games. With Samuel out the next few weeks, Jennings should see an uptick in targets.

Jennings should be added in 12-team and deeper leagues. The 49ers face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, the New England Patriots in Week 4, and the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. The Rams and Cardinals have fantasy-friendly secondaries, providing Jennings with flex appeal for the next few weeks.
