Is Aaron Rodgers Hurt Or Healthy?
The reigning NFL MVP has failed to equal his stellar 2021 production this year. Rodgers hasn't thrown for over 300 yards in a single game this season. He stands as the overall fantasy QB16 in standard scoring.
The Packers' signal-caller has been dealing with multiple injury issues this week. Rodgers has been battling through a thumb injury for a large portion of the season, but he also picked up a minor knee injury in Green Bay's Week 16 victory over the Miami Dolphins. He sat out Wednesday's practice session but did return to limited participation on Thursday, which bodes well for his Week 17 availability.
Fantasy Football Outlook For Aaron Rodgers In Week 17?
Rodgers' injuries seem fairly minor and while fantasy managers will want to monitor his Friday practice status, he should be good to go for a Week 17 tilt with the Minnesota Vikings.
Although he's underwhelmed in 2022, Rodgers deserves serious fantasy consideration against a Minnesota defense that's been putrid against the pass this season. The Vikings rank dead last in the NFL in passing yards allowed to opposing QBs. He's on the QB1/QB2 fence this week.
