BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 3% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Bills have been missing John Brown all season long. Brown, the team's WR2, has already missed a few games and will keep doing so for the next two weeks after been put in Injured Reserve before the game against the Chargers in W12. With Brown not available until W15, it will all be about Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley... and Gabriel Davis!
Davis, a rookie fourth-rounder playing his first pro-ball in Buffalo this season, has been quite a pleasant surprise for his fantasy GMs. Davis has appeared on all Bills games this season playing more than 60% of their offensive snaps to date and logging 60 this past Sunday against LA. Davis took advantage of such heavy playing time and did the most of it by catching 3 of 4 targets for 79 yards (26.3 Y/R) while scoring a TD to put the cherry on top.
The W12 performance of Davis was his second-best of the year, only 0.1 PPR points below his best (W9, 17.0 vs Seattle). Although Davis was kind of a low-level-yet-reliable 10-PPR-point scorer through Week 5, he then proceeded to have three games without more than two fantasy points and sandwiched a goose egg between his 17 PPR games in W19 and W12 (Buffalo was on a W11 bye).
With Brown out, though, Davis profiles as a more than good streaming option and a great FLEX play in deeper leagues ROS. That's because other than San Francisco's in W13, Buffalo faces the 18th, 12th, and 14th-best defenses against WRs. Not the worst of additions at wideout for needy GMs out there looking for some boom/bust players.
