As a general rule of thumb, fantasy football managers usually wait until the later rounds to draft their starting team defense (D/ST). A few elite options exist -- such as the Cowboys, Ravens, 49ers, and Jets team defenses -- but unless you draft one of the top elite defenses, managers usually stream the D/ST position weekly.
