Fantasy Football Matchups We Love - Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Week 14 (2025)

Daniel Jones - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Quincy's top fantasy football matchups for Week 14 of 2025. His favorite start 'em, sit 'em picks and predictions -- strong start/sit matchups that he loves.

Week 14 is a do-or-die week for many fantasy managers. In many formats, the fantasy playoffs begin in Week 15. For many teams, this is a win, and you're in week. The parity in the NFL this season seems to have permeated fantasy teams. There are many fantasy teams with similar records. As such, this is one of the more exciting finishes to the fantasy football regular season that we have had in a while.

With such an important week ahead, fantasy managers will be looking for every possible advantage. Whether you need upside or need to mitigate risk depends on your situation and opponent. Either way, you have come to the right place to find out who has the best and worst matchups this week.

With teams such as the Patriots, Giants, Panthers, and 49ers on a bye, this week is that much more important. Each one of those four teams features a plethora of solid to great fantasy contributors. As such, fantasy managers rostering players from those teams are in dire need of replacements. Let's dive in and see where you can find the best advantages in Week 14.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Quarterback Matchups We Love

Daniel Jones - Indianapolis Colts
Opponent: at JAX
Opponent Rank vs. QB: 23rd

In recent weeks, Daniel Jones has not hit the same heights he enjoyed earlier in the season. Jones was routinely scoring more than 20 fantasy points prior to the Colts' schedule stiffening up. However, Jones should enjoy a nice outing on Sunday against the Jaguars, who have allowed 22 passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks.

Jones and the Colts may find themselves in a shootout if Jacksonville's offense decides to show up this week. As such, there should be plenty of touchdown opportunities. Additionally, the Jaguars' pass rush should force Jones to use his legs this week. Fire up Jones if you are missing players such as Drake Maye or Jaxson Dart in Week 14.

Joe Burrow - Cincinnati Bengals
Opponent: at BUF
Opponent Rank vs. QB: 2nd

Do not be afraid of the No. 2 team against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy. Joe Burrow is back. This game appears to be a potential classic shoot-out between two of the best quarterbacks in the game. The Bills will have no issue putting up points on the Bengals. Burrow and the Bengals will need to respond.

Burrow did not skip a beat in his return from a toe injury in Week 13. Against a quality Ravens team, Burrow threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns. He looked mobile and healthy. If you picked Burrow back up, do not hesitate to throw him into your lineup on Sunday.

Quarterback Matchup to Temper Expectations

Jacoby Brissett - Arizona Cardinals
Opponent: LAR
Opponent Rank vs. QB: 8th

Jacoby Brissett has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks of late. However, that reign could face a bump in Week 14. The Cardinals will host the Rams and their stellar defense this week. The Rams have allowed just 16 passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks all season.

Arizona figures to struggle a bit with the Rams' pass rush. While Brissett may find his way to garbage time points, the road to get there could be bumpy. Consider Brissett to be more of a high-end QB2 in Week 14.

Running Back Matchups We Love

Zach Charbonnet - Seattle Seahawks
Opponent: at ATL
Opponent Rank vs. RB: 26th

This call may come as a bit of a surprise, but it is a comment on the fact that Zach Charbonnet should find the end zone this week. The Seahawks continue to find themselves in consistent scoring positions. When they are inside the five-yard line, Charbonnet is going to receive the ball.

The Falcons have been terrible against the run this season while simultaneously boasting a solid passing defense. As such, Charbonnet may even be able to find some value outside of touchdowns this week. If you need a deep dart throw, Charbonnet is as good a bet as anyone to score and deliver a flex day for your fantasy team.

RJ Harvey - Denver Broncos
Opponent: at LV
Opponent Rank vs. RB: 19th

Let's run it back with RJ Harvey for the second week in a row. Harvey has done well to secure a significant role in this offense with J.K. Dobbins out. While he has not run particularly well, running room should begin to take form in Week 14 against the Raiders.

Las Vegas has allowed 13 rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this season. All Harvey seems to do is score touchdowns. In fact, he is coming off a two-touchdown game in Week 13. This game should be much less of a stinker than the matchup between these two teams in Week 10. As such, start Harvey with confidence.

Running Back Matchup to Temper Expectations

Javonte Williams - Dallas Cowboys
Opponent: at DET
Opponent Rank vs. RB: 1st

The Lions have been one of the best teams against the run over the last few years, and that has not changed in 2025. Javonte Williams may be enjoying a resurgent season, but the running lanes may be tougher to come by against this defensive front in Week 14.

The Lions can be beaten in the secondary, and Dallas has an excellent passing offense. This game projects to deliver Thursday night fireworks, which lends itself to a more pass-heavy approach as teams attempt to keep up. Williams will remain involved in the passing game, but this could be a quieter outing for the fifth-year pro.

Wide Receiver Matchups We Love

George Pickens - Dallas Cowboys
Opponent: at DET
Opponent Rank vs. WR: 28th

Unlike his teammate Williams, George Pickens should be in for a big day on Thursday night. The Lions are No. 28 against opposing wide receivers in fantasy. The Cowboys' potent passing attack should have no issues rolling behind Pickens and CeeDee Lamb.

Additionally, Detroit is at home in this game. The Lions tend to deliver excellent fantasy output when they are at home. That should force Dallas into a consistent aerial assault that should, in turn, provide a great fantasy day for Pickens. Pickens has top-5 potential this week.

Justin Jefferson - Minnesota Vikings
Opponent: WAS
Opponent Rank vs. WR: 29th

Who would have ever thought we would need to put Justin Jefferson in this section of this column, but here we are. Jefferson has struggled to deliver much fantasy value with J.J. McCarthy under center. Jefferson is coming off a catastrophic game that featured an unqualified Max Brosmer at quarterback. However, the days should get better.

McCarthy should be back in Week 14. Although he is not playing the best football, the Vikings' opponents have been tough in recent weeks. The Commanders have about as leaky a defense as you could have. The Vikings should be able to get something going offensively this week. Jefferson is in a great position to bounce back.

Wide Receiver Matchup to Temper Expectations

Xavier Worthy - Kansas City Chiefs
Opponent: HOU
Opponent Rank vs. WR: 3rd

Although Xavier Worthy has enjoyed a couple of solid weeks in a row, Houston has been a no-fly zone for opposing wide receivers this season. Worthy's wide receiver counterpart, Rashee Rice, is relatively safe in the slot. However, Houston is likely to take away any potential big-play ability from Worthy.

The Texans boast one of those defenses that you never want to start anyone against in fantasy. In the past couple of years, we have seen the Broncos do the same. With Houston allowing the eighth-fewest total receiving yards and just seven receiving touchdowns to wide receivers, you need to look elsewhere in Week 14.

Tight End Matchup We Love

Tyler Warren - Indianapolis Colts
Opponent: at JAX
Opponent Rank vs. TE: 31st

You do not need an excuse to start Tyler Warren, but after a couple of weeks with more pedestrian production from the rookie, you should expect a big outing in Week 14. The Jaguars have allowed a whopping 831 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns to opposing tight ends. They are essentially inviting unbelievable production from the position.

Look for Warren and the Colts' offense to get back on track in Week 14. The Colts need to get back to what was working before their recent skid. That included featuring Warren in the passing game quite a bit more.

Tight End Matchup to Temper Expectations

AJ Barner - Seattle Seahawks
Opponent: at ATL
Opponent Rank vs. TE: 2nd

AJ Barner has been a fun revelation this season. He is great after the catch, and he is providing the Seahawks with a much-needed boost to their passing game. Unfortunately, the matchup with the Falcons in Week 14 is about as bad as it gets. This team does not give up much to tight ends at all.

Seattle seems poised to lean on the running game and feature wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Week 14. While you may have been streaming Barner to some success, he is a much riskier play in Week 14.
