FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/19/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Stan Son highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/19/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We've got a ten-game slate for Friday. MIN, ORL, PHX, POR, and UTA are playing the second leg of a back-to-back.

There are two games at 7:30 pm ET (SA @ CLE and SAC @BOS), fives games at 8:00 pm (GS @ MEM, BKN @ ORL, UTA @ TOR, IND @ MIA, and DET @ HOU), one game at 9:00 pm (CHI @ DEN), and the late-night hammers at 10:00 pm are MIN @ PHX and DAL @ POR.

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/19/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Keep an eye on Rotoballer’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Luka Doncic, PG - @ POR ($10,400)

Doncic is averaging 1.5 FD points per minute. He garners a 35.8 usage rate and has gone for 60 and 73.7 FD points in his last two games. POR is 29th in defensive efficiency and boosts the fantasy points per minute to point guards by 10.56% above league average. Doncic faced Portland on Valentine's Day and went for 60.9 FD points. He good.

Tomas Satoransky, PG - @ DEN ($4,400)

Since entering the starting lineup three games ago, Satoransky has played 26, 31, and 34 minutes while producing 33.7, 32.9, and 21.9 FD points. The usage rate is low because he plays alongside Zach LaVine but he's dished out seven assists in each game and contributed 1, 3, and 1 steals. The floor is high and he can access ceiling if he knocks down his seven to eight shots per game.

James Harden, SG -@ ORL ($11,300)

Harden is coming off a season-high 78.5 FD points against the Pacers on Wednesday. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were out so he attempted a season-high 27 shots. Irving is probable for this one, so the volume won't be as robust. With that said, he still gonna get his, like he's done for most of the games since arriving in Brooklyn. Over the last seven games, Harden has gone for 78.5, 56.3, 62, 48, 66, and 75.3 FD points. The matchup is a good one as the Magic boost the fantasy points per minute to point guards by 15.23% above league average. Harden has played the Magic twice this season, going for 73.4 and 38.3 FD points. Only 38.3 you say? The Nets won by 37 points that game.

Josh Jackson, SG - @ HOU ($4,800)

Jackson usually doesn't start and only plays 24 minutes per game, but when he's on the court, he's going to huck and chuck. He averages double-digit shot attempts and garners a usage rate of around 25. The great thing about his game is that he's not just a scorer, as he chips in some rebounds and assists while racking up defensive stats. On the season, he's averaging 1 FD point per minute and is coming off a 34 FD performance on Wednesday.

Also consider: Damian Lillard ($10,300), Delon Wright ($5,600), Zach LaVine ($8,700), Caris Levert ($5,600)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Jaylen Brown, SF - vs. SAC ($7,500)

Brown is coming off two monster games in which he produced 50.6 and 50.5 FD points in 39 and 38 minutes. Another 50-burger shouldn't be expected, as he averages 1.16 FD points per minute, but he should be productive and another ceiling game is within the range of outcomes. The Kings play at the 8th-fastest pace and are dead-last in defensive efficiency. These teams played on February 3rd and Brown contributed 32.6 FD points.

Larry Nance Jr., SF - vs. SA ($5,300)

With Kevin Love out of action....again!....Nance has returned to the starting lineup and played 38 and 37 minutes the last two games. He's contributed 33.8 and 43 FD points. On the season, Nance averages 0.84 FD points per minute and he should play over 30 minutes again in this one.

Jayson Tatum, PF - vs. SAC ($8,900)

Tatum won't access the ceiling like some of his peers, as he has not gone above 60 FD points this season, but he's been very consistent over the last five games: 47.5, 46.7, 40.2, 42.5, and 51.9 FD points. Now, he has produced fewer than 30 FD points four times this season, but the matchup should assist in elevating the floor. The Kings play fast and are the worst team in terms of defensive efficiency.

Aaron Gordon, PF - vs. BKN ($5,400)

Gordon missed 17 of 18 games due to an ankle injury. He received the start yesterday and produced 33.5 FD points. More importantly, he played 31 minutes. Now, the Magic could sit him on the second leg of a back-to-back, but if he does play, the environment would be a good one.

Also consider: Michael Porter Jr. ($6,500)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic, C - vs. CHI ($11,000)

Jokic is coming off a game in which he only scored 36 FD points because the Nuggets won by 25 points and he wasn't needed. Jokic has scored fewer than 40 FD points only twice this season. He's gone over 60 FD points 16 times with five of those over 70 and the 88.6 FD explosion he had against the Kings. There's blowout risk in this game as well, but if it can stay somewhat competitive, it could be a great environment because the Bulls play at the seventh-fastest pace.

Jakob Poeltl, C - @ CLE ($5,600)

Poeltl is averaging 1 FD point per minute. Over the last four games, he's played 33, 25, 24, and 29, contributing 38.7, 42.4, 22, and 25.8 FD points. He's double-doubled in the most recent two games and has established himself as the man in the middle for the Spurs. The Cavs play at the fourth-slowest pace but they do boost the fantasy points per minute to centers by 4.15% above league average.

Also consider: Robert Williams ($5,700), Mason Plumlee ($5,700)
